We can't meet IDP Camps Need- Acting VP

The Vice President who is also the acting President,  Prof Yemi Osinbajo has said it is challenging for the FG to cater for the Nation's ggrowing IDPs (Internally Displaced Persons). He was represented by Laolu Akande in a meeting with the Executive Director of the World Food Programme (WFP), Ms. Ertharin Cousin, which was held at the Aso Rock


“So many people are in need, it’s a tough challenge, but we are committed,” Osinbajo was quoted
 He reemphasized the government’s passion to restore calm to the lDPs in the North-east, adding, 
“We are working on how people can get back to their normal lives.”
 He asserted that the government was also working on how to help children, especially regarding education and housing.

He further noted that looking at the nature of the crisis, the Terrorists are on the verge of defeat.  He said he believes that terrorism will soon be a thing of the past in NorthEast
